When did music education start to resemble taking your kid to dentist appointments? These days all anyone does is set up an appointment with their local music shop (aka, dentist's office), arrive at their designated time, pay the bill on the way out, and walk home with new instructions on how to maintain healthy teeth (the analogy breaks down here, but you get the picture). Doesn't there seem to be a disconnect between the reason we want our kids playing music and the way we teach it to them?
One of the greatest values we place on music is its profound tendency to promote community and social engagement. Music is meant to be played with others, performed for audiences, and learned from and along side fellow music lovers. So, from an educational perspective, surrounding yourself with people who collectively see the benefit of music education is super important for aspiring music students.
That's why Vibe Music Academy will be "an educational community of musicians making musicians." We recognize that community is at the heart of music education, so as we quickly approach the commencement of music instruction at Vibe (woo-hoo!), we want to host an event that celebrates the unique community of music lovers that we will be! Here's the details...

What.
The Vibe Music Academy Launch Celebration.
Food and drinks will be provided.
There will (obviously) be awesome music performances featuring the instructors at Vibe.
All enrolled students will receive a free t-shirt!
Who's invited.
Currently enrolled students and their families, and
Friends of enrolled students who want to enjoy some food, music, and summer weather.
Kids are encouraged to attend!
Anyone else interested in attending and learning more about the Vibe community is encouraged to fill out the form below!
