Dewey White is a Guitar and Music Theory instructor who lives on the North side of Indianapolis. He has been a student and performer of multiple instruments for over 15 years, and began professionally teaching and playing guitar shortly after high school in 2015. Having taken lessons and built relationships with technical guitar virtuosos such as Angel Vivaldi and Francesco Filigoi, Dewey spends his time teaching others and honing his technical abilities on both guitar as well as improving his ability to produce/compose music within DAW programs.

Dewey has performed in multiple settings on several instruments, dedicating 7 years to playing Trumpet and Mellophone in band / marching band competitions as well as 12 years playing Guitar, including playing Guitar competitively in IPA Indoor Drumline competitions (2013 IPA State Finalist). In conjunction with teaching, he has since performed at formal events such as weddings and funerals, as well as working for Brownsburg East and West middle schools as Guitar Accompaniment for theatrical programs in 2015 and 2016.

From attending pen-and-paper music theory classes to performing for large crowds in both competitive and professional settings, Dewey has knowledge and skills that would be of value to any guitarist seeking to take up the instrument for the first time or improve upon existing ability.
