Nolan Winters obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance with a Concentration in Composition from the University of Indianapolis where he studied under the esteemed Nemanja Ostojić and John Berners. 

His abilities on the guitar have allowed him many opportunities to perform concerts in both foreign and domestic settings. As a part of the World Guitar Orchestra, he premiered Benjamin Verdery’s piece “Scenes From Ellis Island” in Belgrade, Serbia at the 2019 Guitar Art Festival.  Nolan also won third place at the international Bor Guitar festival in Borgo Val di Taro, Italy where he also toured cities such as Vernazza as a part of the “Guitar Clock Series.” In the states, Nolan has been a guest artist at campuses such as the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Vincennes University. 

As a composer, Nolan has had multiple commissions for song cycles and chamber ensembles as well as Pep band music for Greenwood Community Schools.
