Abigail has played violin since 2010. With only a band program at school, Abigail had to pick up clarinet and remained mostly self taught on violin until joining the Eastern IL University orchestra in high school. After high school, she received a Jordan College of the Arts Award to attend Butler University with violinist Larry Shapiro, leaving with a BA in music and psychology. During her time at Butler, Abigail began teaching private lessons through nearby studios and schools, where she found a love for teaching music, especially to 7-12th grade students.

Upon graduating, Abigail and her husband spent a year in Huntsville, Alabama where she taught and performed with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. When family brought them back to Lafayette in the fall of 2023, Abigail taught with the Lafayette School Corporation orchestras for two years, picking up viola and cello. Currently she teaches many instruments from home and freelances with local orchestras with the hopes of starting a family soon. When not teaching, you can find Abigail with her dog, Moose, kitten named Fish, or husband Noah, enjoying walks and coffee shops.
