Ben Blackketter holds a Masters degree in Percussion Performance from Butler University. He is an active performer and educator in the greater Indianapolis area.

Since moving to Indiana, Mr. Blackketter has performed with several local ensembles including the Indiana Wind Symphony, Greenwood Community Band, Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra, Hendricks Orchestra. He also uses his talents to play in area churches, Plainfield Christian Church and Clermont Christian Church. A career highlight for Ben was to play drum set for the great Doc Severinsen during the 2018 Annual Trumpet Conference. 

In addition to working for the Vibe Music Academy, Ben is the Drumline Instructor at Indiana State University. Mr. Blackketter also teaches at Cathedral High School, Westfield Intermediate and Middle School. He instructs technique for marching, concert, and percussion ensembles as well as private individual and group lessons. Ben has a ten year history of teaching percussion lessons to students of all ages.
