Jin Wu is a pianist and passionate piano educator committed to helping students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music. She currently serves as Piano Faculty with the Young Pianists Program and as a Collaborative Pianist at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) Candidate in Piano Performance, with a related field in Piano Pedagogy, at the University of North Texas. She previously earned piano performance degrees from the Mannes School of Music – The New School and the University of Kansas.

Jin has taught students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities, designing individualized instruction that combines technical development with musical expression. Her teaching emphasizes comprehensive musicianship by integrating piano study with music theory, ear training, sight reading, sight singing, and music appreciation. She is dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student can grow at their own pace while being challenged to reach their full potential.

Her students have achieved success in Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and Trinity College examinations, competitions, and public performances. As an active performer, Jin is the recipient of numerous prizes in national and international piano competitions, including the William Gammon Henry Piano Concerto Competition, the Elite International Music Competition, and the Liszt International Piano Competition. She has performed throughout the United States, China, and Spain, with appearances at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall. She enjoys bringing her professional performance experience into the studio to inspire and support the next generation of musicians.
