Josh Grube is a pianist and composer currently in Carmel, Indiana. He began studying classical piano around the age of 6. In middle school, he joined the school band as a percussionist later performing with his high school’s marching band and winter percussion ensemble as a pianist and percussionist, where he also got his start composing and arranging music for small ensembles and competing in ISSMA Solo and Ensemble for vibraphone and marimba.

Josh’s studies continued at Taylor University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition. While there, he often wrote his own music to be performed in concerts and recitals and learned how to play many other instruments, with performance emphasis on four mallet marimba and vibraphone, timpani, and piano. He also worked as an audio engineer during his time at Taylor to record, mix, and master performances on campus, where he became adept at the production side of music, particularly with DAWs such as Pro Tools, Finale, and Digital Performer.

Currently, Josh teaches piano and other keyboard instruments, transcribes keyboard parts, and composes in his free time. He often plays piano, organ, synthesizer, and on rare occasion, keytar, for worship for the high school ministry at Grace Church.
