Jessica Myers is a versatile oboe and English horn player.  She has thrived on a diverse range of fulfilling chamber music, freelance, and educational experiences across Indianapolis, Miami, and New York City.  Highlights include playing at Carnegie Hall, Hilbert Circle Theatre, Kauffman Center for the Arts, and the Palladium. She has performed with the Muncie Symphony Orchestra, participated in the IMANI Winds Chamber Music festival, and recorded with the Palm Beach Symphony. Furthermore, she has had the pleasure of playing in many pit orchestras such as the Butler Ballet, Mannes Opera, Vocal Productions NYC, the Florida Grand Opera, and the Maltz Theatre Pit Orchestra.

Dr. Myers acts as oboist and founding member of the KHAOS Wind Quintet. They are a diverse group of virtuosic female performers that are committed to supporting new music and meaningful community engagement. Performances have taken place at venues such as Gusman Concert Hall, Britto Romero Art Gallery, Flagler Museum and Fairchild Botanical Gardens.

Dr. Myers devoted a great amount of time into her passion of education both to oboists and double reed players alike. She has had the pleasure of teaching young oboists at the Miami Arts Charter School, Butler Summer Oboe Camp and Community Arts School, and Meridian Music in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has worked as a double reed educator at the South Madison School Corporation, Music for the Sake of Music, and currently at Fall Creek Junior High.
