Music has been an important part of my life since I started taking piano lessons at the age of 7. Along the way, I took organ lessons from David Spicer who went to Curtis Institute and played trombone for 6 years in concert and jazz bands.  I was also the accompanist for the chorus.

After high school,  I studied piano performance at Heidelberg College in Ohio, the New School of Music in Philadelphia , then finished at SUNY Binghamton in New York where I earned my BA in Music.

Over the years I have taught piano lessons to all ages and now after moving to the Indianapolis area three years ago,  I’m ready to start teaching again and help others find their expression in music.  I have a good background in music history and theory as well.

For fun I like to create stained glass, swim, bike my kickbike, camp and hike.
