Michel began studying violin at four years old with renowned Juilliard alumni and founder of the Walenstein Music Organization, Romel Joseph. This introduced her to a series of concerts and music competitions. At the age of eight, she began taking piano lessons with John Arguello, followed by Getty Goodwin, Nona Topolinsky, and Adelina. She began her studies for viola at the age of thirteen studying with Roseline Lang and was elected first violist for the South Florida Youth Symphony (SFYS). Michel was then counseled by Richard Fleishman once admitted to New World School of the Arts for the music program and also mentored by Viera Borisova.

During her early college years, Michel was formally facilitating and training studemts in the beginning string program for SFYS as well as teaching at Miami Music Project, while maintaining her private studio for Violin, Viola, and Piano lessons. Michel has immersed herself into performance production, conceiving the Hope String Orchestra for orchestral education and directed the Easy Listening Orchestra for students to have orchestral experience. Her latest exploit includes the Anointed Easter Music Competition and Recital for intermediate and advanced students to experience music competitions and performance.

As a soloist, she has performed in Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Michel is an active freelancing artist performing in the Philadelphia and South Florida and is a member of the Gateways Music Festival and Colour of Music Festival. Michel attended Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music studying with Stephen Wyrczynski, followed by Florida Atlantic University studying with Dr. Diane Wiesberg, Florida International University with Michael Klotz and is currently finishing her degree at Temple Universiy under the tutelage of Kerri Ryan of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
